Document splitting error at the time of bank reconcilliation

Hi Sapians,

While doing Bank Reconcilliation, I am facing following error message:

Document splitting: Items for clearing 5300/600000074/2011/002 not found

Message no. GLT0002

Diagnosis

Document splitting cannot perform clearing because it was not possible to find complete splitting information on the items to be cleared (company code 5300, document number 600000074, fiscal year 2011, item 002).

System Response

Clearing cannot be performed and the document cannot be posted.

Procedure

Exclude the affected item from clearing.

It may be that this item was not posted with active document splitting. In this case, this item or document would have to be migrated.

Actually there were certain Bank GL Accounts which were not of Open item category but to make them open I changed one Standard Program from RFSEPA02 to ZRFSEPA02 & changed them to clearing Accounts. Is it because of this problem is coming?

Document Splliting issue you may missed out upgrade standared procedure.

Activation OpenItem Cehck Box for posted line item

If you are in ECC - >=EHP3 SAP provided standared Program as well T.Code:

T.Code: FAGL_ACTIVATE_OP

Program: FAGL_SWITCH_TO_OPEN_ITEM

you already executed your developed program fro activating OI Check Box, Please check with Table all line item get activated or not Table : BSIS

If all OI is not activated / activated run again SAP Standared T.code.

Hi,

I think Document splitting was activated after some time. Some documents were posted prior to activating document splitting and the other document for clearing is posted after activating document splitting.

I think those old documents posted prior to document splitting, have not been properly migrated to document splitting environment.

Take a look at this sapnote_0001086181- Subsequent implementation of Document splitting.
