Release Order partners

Hello SDN,

I like to clarify concept about value contract release partners.

1. Am i right to say that in a value contract, only partner functions : SP Contract Rel. Ord. (PF AA) and SH Contract Rel. Ord. (PF AW) can be used to release orders from a contract?

Or is it any partner defined in the value contract's partner tab can release the orders? For example these are shown /defined in the tab : Payer, Bill-To party, Sales Employee etc.

I ask because when I try to create a release order, the system prompts me to select 1st a sold-to Party and then a Ship-To party.

For sold-to party, my choices were Sold-To party and SP Contract Rel Ord .

For ship-to party, my choices were Ship-To party and SH Contract Rel. Ord.

What happens if I selected Sold-To party instead of SP Contract Rel ord?

Likewsie, if i selected Ship-To party instead of SH Contract Rel ord?

Will i still be able to release orders?

Last but not least, could you advise where is the customer list for partners authorised to release set?

hi,

this two partners are sufficient i think so

never came across this situation before.

as you goto Partner functions in PDP its there like that only as you said.

please test and confirm
