Strange behaviour of ABAP Debugger

66 Views

Hi guys,

i have following code and problem:

*"----------------------------- Processing Logic ----------------------------*"
   code....

    IF t_email IS NOT INITIAL.
      CALL FUNCTION 'zxxx_MAIL_SEND_TASK_DESCR'
        EXPORTING
          iv_guid        = me->globaldata->msg_guid
          iv_task_name   = 'ZSLFN_SUPD'
          iv_task_bo_msg = 'BUS2000116'                     "#EC NOTEXT
          iv_inupdtask   = 'n'
          iv_url         = l_url
        TABLES
          it_receiver    = t_email
        EXCEPTIONS
          no_mail_sent   = 1
          OTHERS         = 2.
    ENDIF.

When i'm debugging through the code i can't set a breakpoint at

 IF t_email IS NOT INITIAL.

or at this position

    CALL FUNCTION 'zxxx_MAIL_SEND_TASK_DESCR'

i only can set breakpoints at really strange positions, where we won't expect breakpoints , like in this line

EXPORTING

i think it's a cahing / buffer problem. because after i changed some lines of code in my programm the problem occured suddenly. Before changing anything i had no problems with the debugger.

any ideas how to clean / update the cache / buffer?

thanks for help

sven
