Background job - Spool output screwed up.

Hi Friends,

i am running a report in background and i have 40 to 50 columns as a result the output of the back ground job spool output does not show in one lone but as soon as it reaches to the certain point it splits the line and shows one line as as two...

what could be the problem?

I think that`s a simple line size overflow.

If it is a custom report then In the REPORT statement change the LINE SIZE or

For ALV report check the Note 1059001 - ALV printing: Unnecessary break in the background processing.

Incase of standard report search for suitable SAP notes.
