Hi all,
I keep on struggling with more complex formula's ij the formula editor. An example is the "difference-from-calculation". The dialog box indicates it requires a Time-dimension, which I have in my model, yet I cannot select it in my drop-down. Probably this is due to certain restrictions that I don't know (I;e. lowest grain possible is Month ??)
Wouldn't it be a great idea to have a little best practice guide with samples of the most commonly used dimensions? For Lumira these exist and they are a great help and inspiration for anybody. The guide shouldn't be to complex; just 4 or 5 pages with some common examples:
- how to do a running sum
- how to use the difference from calc
- how to set-up a calculated dimension
- etc etc

Hi Iver,
Good idea. I will check with the team to see if that's something we can create.
Have you read the online help: Calculation Editor
