The cost element secondary exist, but int he activity type does not exist

Hi experts:

I have the problem with de activity type and the cost element secondary, the system show the message the error in the change the activity type or display, when I check in the field Allocation cost element. "Cost element PS1001 does not exist in controlling area 1000 Message no. KS030". I made the verification in the TX KS03, but the cost element is created correctly, the valid from is 01.01.2010 to 31.12.999 and the activity type has the same date.

The activiy type has movement with the same cost element PS1001. For me it is not correct assign other cost element, because the traceability of information, I do not understand what happened, if the system was working ok.

Someone can help me with information to solved the problem.

Can you pl check Activity (KL02/03) indicator tab if bymistake it is locked.

You also check history tab to see the last changes made if any.

Please check Have you created the cost element with cost element category 43 or not?

Hi,

The cost element is create category 43, the problem is when display or change the activity type, the system show message that the cost element does not exist, in the field Allocation cost elem, but if in the same field matchcode use the system displays the cost elements type 43, but when I make the select, the system show message that the cost element does not exist.

This activity type PS1001 with the cost element PS1001 have movements, because the master data were created since 01.01.2010, but now the master data do not work.
