Hi everybody,
I am supposed to change some parameters in some of our Vendor-Mastedata. Is it possible to do so over Mass maintenance function? The transaction MASS does not work in our System 6.0.
Thanks
Hi,
MASS should work in ECC 6.0... You could use MASS if the change you are going to perform is unique for all the records involved, e.g. you want to set a value to field and this value willbe the same for all vendors. If it's not the situation, you'd better use LSMW.

Eli

Hi ,
Use XK99 - Which is in short the replica of MASS for LFA1 .
Secondly T code MASS should work in ECC 6.0.

Hi SIM,
Use transaction XK99 to update changes in mass but before that read following...
You will be able to update only one value for all. If you need different value in all vendors then BDC will help.

Hi,
T.Code: MASS should be work in ECC
Try to change with T.Code: XK99 / LSMW / SECATT (SECATT worked only in ECC)

HI,
what do you mean "it does not work"? Are you not authorized to use MASS? It is working in ECC60.
You can try XK99 as well, but thats nothing else than MASS limited to object type "LFA1" (which is vendors).
Another way can be to use LSMW.
Best regards, Christian
