Enable Forecast Settings

Hi,

At a Planning Area Level one can assign Keyfigures to store Corrected History, Ex-post Forecast Etc. under Extras-> Forecast Settings.

I want to enable this feature on a live Planning Area, could any one suggest the impact, for instance will any datasources become inactive, consistency of data in the Planning Area etc.

Hi Bharath,

I have done this to a planning area which is active. It did not result in any inconsistency. You are just adding the keyfigures so that once the forecast is executed the results will be stored to this. You are not modifying any data. Also you will not get any pop up saying that data will be changed and data loss can happen(like you get when you select "Change keyfigure settings"). So according to me it is safe to do it.
