In APO PP/DS how to transfer planned orders to ECC for 1 plant only

Dear all,

We have customized that we only transfer to ECC In-House Production orders with (create transfer events from conversion indicator). This was working fine until we got an exception.

Now we have a new plant where we only plan in APO the finished products. All the materials for that plant are planned in ECC. Because of that we need, only for that plant, to send to ECC all the planned orders (AI category) created in APO.

Any ideas about how to do this?

Hi,

You can try with below approch

1. Set always create transfer events in PPDS global settings

2. In cif setting maintain distrubution definition (/SAPAPO/CP1) maintain definition for inhouse production only for location for which you want to transfer planned orders to ECC.

Not sure whether it will work and what impact it will have? You can have detailed test then decide.

Thank you for your reply.

The problem is that we need to maintain in (/SAPAPO/CP1) the settings for inhouse production for all the locations. Because for the other locations, after the planner set the conversion indicator for the In House production orders, the order has to be transferred to ECC.

if it´s not possible by standard customizing any ideas about the best exit tofiltrer the planned orders from the others locations?

Hi,

You can try with cif exit "Exit_/SAPAPO/SAPLCIF_G_IP_002" Still need to set always create transfer events indicator as this exit is called after transfer to ecc is triggered and before data is published to ECC.

I was looking to the one that you mentioned and also to EXIT_/SAPAPO/SAPLCIF_G_IP_007.
