Cost Distribution issue with dafault position

Hi gurus ,

Employee left in 2010 and position has been changed to 999999.

he joined on 10.01.2011 and left on 25.01.2011 . Some how payroll results showing IT00027 in WPBP table for the period of 01.01.2011 to 09.01.2011 ( employee is inactive during this period )

I checked 27 and 1018 side also there is no cost distribution for the his last or prsent position ...

My question is why the cost ditribution for default position

IT0027 is not with repsect to the position but to the employee himself.

There must be an active cost distribution maintained for the employee in IT0027. Please verify the data.
