New Record for DBDataSource

I have a user form that is bound to a DBDataSource and I want to add a new record.

In VB6 I could add a condition that did not match any records and this cleared my form so I could add a new row. When I ported my code to .NET this no longer works.

Is there another way to add a new record?

I solved my own problem by trying a different condition and it worked.
