copy paste item on shopping cart

Hello

Landscape - SRM 7.0 , SP 07

when we click "copy" and "paste" or click "duplicate" for the line item of SC then new line item gets copied but its account assignment details are greyed out . we are not able to enter account assignment details. ideally it should have copied account assignment details as well.

any body faced this issue

Hi Ashish,

No such problem on our SRM 7.0 SP5. After copy/pasted or duplicated, the new item copied out the account assignment of the old item and the details are not greyed out.

Too bad to know that higher SP introduce new problem. So you need to raise OSS SAP ticket for this issue.

We are on SRM 7 SP09.  When we copy line item - the account assignment info does not get copied. How did you fix this. Was there a SAP Note? if so can you please share.

I am not sure about item . i am talkingabout old po tempalte to sc..

account assignment and ship to address may not copy .i think these are standard. in your previous verios are they copied . i dont think so.. i dont have sytem to check..

Note 1516372 - Delivery address from an old SC is not copied to a new SC.

Note 1474139 - BBPSC05:Requestor & accounting delatils deleted from Old SC

theSE above two functionalities are not available in SRM 4.0 as well as 5.0 but 7.0 guys might be enjoying this facility..

I personally(informally) advise my close enduser not to use copy and templates. it indeed creates a problem.
