"No Applicable Data Found" in Bex Query

we just installed bw 3.0b. we activated a small cube and loaded data from r/3 into bw. we can display the cube data. but after we created a query based on this cube, we always get "No Applicable Data Found" in Bex. when we set the trace on, we found the following error message "registryGet failed

- entry: chooseTemplate=? " . anybody know how to solve this problem ? Thanks for any help.

Hello Yi,

I don't know about the message in the trace. Try running the query in transaction RSRT first. Check the BW statistics in table RSDDSTAT. If QDBSEL and/or QDBTRANS are 0, then there's probably some incorrect restriction in your query.

You can also do a SQL trace and check if the big SQL statements return some records. There have been cases where the database did not work correctly (see SAP notes).
