Hi All,

Does anyone here experienced this problem? The user reported that after adding the GRPO that generated by copying from PO, they found out that the line items in PO has been deleted? We're trying to reproduce this problem but we're unable to reproduce it.

Thanks and Regards,

Vin

Hi Melvin........

Something is wrong in User Vision.

This does not happen into the system untill and unless anybody does it forcefully.

I would suggest you to check on your level and let us know........

Hi All,

I think the uer manually deleted the line items. But she denied it. The PO got 60 line items and quite difficult if she manually deleted it individually.

thanks

Hi Melvin,

Open the PO when the user deleted and check in Tools -->change log (show history) by this you can identify the changes of each instance in the PO date user and time wise.

Hope this will give you more clarity.

Hi Rakesh,

There are 10 log instances and some instance got recorded the deletion of row. But the user denied that she/he manuallydeleted the line items in PO. Can we say that the user manually deleted it based on the change log recorded?

thanks,

Hi Melvin,

Yes you can and that is the Proof on modification, Click on CTRL and selct two lines in the change log at a time and see the diffrences and double click to see the real PO from first.

The user code will be there who deleted it or modified it.

Hi Rakesh,

The logs are there that showing deleted by user. But the user still denying that she didn't delete any line items. Otherwise i will firmly said that she manually deleted the line items..

Hi Melvin,

The user might have by mistake deleted or any other user with that login can have deleted. The system informs the changes that have applied.

Please investigate from your end... hope your issue is resolved.

Thank you

Hi Melvin,

Are you running any add-on?

Also check the UDFs in row level?

Hi Melvin,

Which version of SAP B1 you are working on ?

So if your PO item lines are deleted when copying to GRPO are you able to track the Base document from the GRPO. having the particular GRPO opened enable the form settingsa and make visble the Basetype and the other fields and check if the PO No. is available.

If this is a one of issue or you experience the same then thsi issue can be reported. If you have a back up of the DB before this transaction of PO copied into PO, restore the backup and check if the same applies.
