Plug In release for datasource error

hello gurus,

i am unable to schedule or run data loads for Transaction data in BW.

WHENEVER i go to do selection the infopackage gives error -

PI-Release 2LIS_12_VCHDR for the DataSource SD is not suitable for existing link DATA

the same is for 2lis_11_vahdr,vaitm etc...

somehow when i try tor un the infopackage for master data it works perfectly fine!!!

i can run and load the data for 0customer,0material etc. etc.

searched the forum but cannot find suitable answers

Dave,

Can you extract the records using RSA3 for the extractors you mentioned ?

If yes , then I think it is basis related. Talk to them , they would be able to fix this PI mismatch.

i checked it

in RSA3 it is giving me error

"No authorization to extract data"

but if it is a security issue

why i can extract records for 0customer and etc..

and not for transaction data....

Dave,

Please do the following checks .

1. if the data sources are active in the ECC system

2. if the Job control is active for the datasources in LBWE Trnx .

3. If you were able to fill the set up tables.

4. If you can replicate into BI the datasources with issues.

Yes they are active

2. if the Job control is active for the datasources in LBWE Trnx .--Yes Job control is active..

Yes setup tables have data and even in se11 it shows data

4. If you can replicate into BI the datasources with issues.

No issues replicating it to BI...

It only gives this error when i try to select Year /Period or any values in "Selection" of an infopackage...

it doesnt let me select any values and give this error....

i tried running it without selections but it always in Yellow state and no records exchanged

Dave,

You can look at sm37 in ECC to see if the extraction job is created, if there is no Job created and the master data had no issues while extrcting , I'm pretty sure it has to a Plug in mismatch issue between ECC and BI.

There are couple of posts on this form with the same issue, and they all had after upgrading the SP.

So I suggest you get the basis team involved and they would be able to resolve this.
