special sales orders

Hello,

From definition , special sales orders are RO and CS.

But from documentation material, I read that

"Sales order stock is special stock which can be used Only for the special sales order."

This was in the context of a M-T-O production.

I just like to confirm that , referencing the above quoted sentence, 'special sales order' in that context is not restricted to Cash Sales and Rush Orders only. Can be normal sales order OR etc.

regards

Pascal

Since the business process is different for the special sales orders, for example in the cash sales the goods/service are paid in cash and the deliveries are made in the same day, other standard orders like standard orders are NOT considered as special sales orders.

In MTO, a stock is reserved for a particular sales order, hence it is termed as special/reserved stock. This has nothing to do with special sales orders.

Hi,

this is to inform you that,

Sales order stock is special stock which can be used Only for the special sales order - this is applicable to MTO production because you will

for eg: use 561 E and give material and sales order number and line item and save the document then only the requriment will get generated that means after stock coming to storage location it will be reserved against the sales order.

for this CS & RO are not applicable under the above statement.

here Special Sales order is different & special stock is different from each other.

hope this clears your issue

Mr.Gabin

Special Sales order is different from special stock. ( customer consignment stock, consignment with vendor, sales order stock, etc etc....)

Hope I am clear.
