Hi,
I have had a question from a customer if it is possible to schedule a BW report in a way that it is automatically run after the refresh of the cube and then saved in a specific network drive.
I don't think it is possible, but wanted to check.
Does anyone know is this is possible?
Thanks,
Allan
By default it's stored on the BW server and you got to use the download scheduler (check in Start -> Programs -> Business Explorer) to get the files
I don't know if there is any other way to get them. If someone knows, I'm also interested
I hope this helps

Hi,
While scheduling the background job using reporting agent, you need to select a printer name. Work with your basis team for setting up a printer name with a pre-defined path set on the application server. once you schedule your report, the result will be saved in this folder so that you can download to your PC. Use transaction code AL11 for accessing this folder on application server. You can also automate the process for moving from this folder to a shared drive by writing a shell script.
hope it helps...
