Goal Diagram Manager does not launch when running NW CE 7.2

Hello

We currently have an installation of SSM SP07 with SAP NW CE 7.2, while trying to load the diagram manager from the Strategy Defaults appears an error message "The remote server returned an error: (401) Unauthorized"

After researching the forums I found the note 1284823 in which states:

Goal Diagram Manager does not launch when running NW CE 7.2

The Goal Diagram Manager can not be launched when running SSM 7.5 with NetWeaver CE 7.2. There is no workaround.

( Changed at 03.11.2010 )

I checked the Product Availability Matrix in the SAP Service Marketplace and it says: Add-On Product Version for... SAP Netweaver CE 7.1:; SAP NETWEAVER CE 7.1 ( Java Application Server ); SAP Netweaver CE 7.2:; SAP NETWEAVER CE 7.2 ( Application Server Java )

My question is whether SAP is currently working to resolve this problem or what would be the best scenario to continue the implementation of the SSM, should I install the SSM on SAP NW CE 7.1 EHP1 to use the diagram manager?

Any information you can give me will be highly appreciated.

Regards,

David

Hi Chamnap,

Apparently the security problems of diagram manager using NW 7.2 were solved in the latest SP of SSM, the SP08.

SSM SP08 Corrected Issues (Note 1533787):

- Security errors encountered when using the Diagram Manager after upgrading to SAP NetWeaver CE 7.1 SP11, NetWeaver 7.1 EHP1 SP5, or when using NetWeaver CE 7.2, are now corrected.

Hi Bob

Sorry, my mistake

Well, I was reviewing the issue of security with SAP NW CE 7.1 EHP1 with SP6, but unfortunately I could not open the Diagram Manager apparently the last SP of NW CE 7.1 EHP1 also has some changes in access and authorization.

The final solution was to install SSM CE 7.5 on NW 7.1 SP07 EHP1 no SP and with this I was able to load the Diagram Manager.

David

David,

Apparently there were some big changes in authorizations and access with Netweaver CE 7.2. Because of this, NW CE 7.2 doesn't allow the data access to Diagram Manager. This conflict is being addressed, but there are no dates I can provide when this may be resolved.

Your best course of action is to in NW CE 7.1 at this time.

Bob

Hi Bob

First of all thanks for the information.

I installed NetWeaver CE 7.1 EHP1 and applied the SP6, then returned to do the installation of SSM 7.5 SP7 and performed the migration of Performance Management Scorecard Data.

Again I configured the SM, but the error persists while trying to load the diagram manager from the Strategy Defaults appears an error message "The remote server returned an error: (401) Unauthorized", is there something I'm doing wrong with the Diagram Manager Configuration?, can be a problem of SP6 of NW CE 7.1 EHP1 that limits data access to Diagram Manager as well?

Should I install the SSM 7.5 SP07 definitely on NW CE 7.1 without any SP?

Regards,

David
