Hi all,

Environment: SRM 5.0; ECC 6.0

How to map the PGroup in SRM to Pgroup in ECC

Business Requirement: PReq from ECC is sent to SRM Bidding Engine for RFx . The purchase req in ECC should be updagted with SRM PGrp, Bid Inv. No. and status.

Question:Where does the mapping of ECC Pgroup to SRM PGroup take place. How to update SRM Pgroup/Buyer working on Bid Invitation in Purchase Requisition?

Hello,

You can handle your problem in the following way.

1. Maintain equivalent sets of Purchase Groups for SRM in ECC(in a z table).

2. Change the purchse group in PReq of ECC to equivalent Purchase group of SRM.

3. Make this event(changing of ECC pur group to SRM pur group) as triggering event for sending these PReqs to SRM system.

Then you do not need to update back pur group from SRM to ECC, because already updated PRs with SRM pur group are only sent to SRM.

If you need more clarification, you may revert back.
