Import Bulk Employees

I have excel sheet which has 2964 employees, i want to import these employees in HCM using LSMW, what transaction code should i use in LSMW.

This is the first time you are mainting the detail of all these employee in SAP. If yes, then first you have to hire all the employee, through transaction PA40.

Hi,

Assume that you are going to upload data first time.

First be clear LSMW itself is the transaction code to upload bulk data from excel to SAP.

You need to create various LSMW (Project, Subproject & Object) as below:

Steps:

1.Organizational Structure

First create Org. Unit through LSMW by recording tcode PO10.

Then create position, maintain A 002 (Report to relationship) by recording tcode PP01.

2. Hiring

Generate employee codes by recording tcode PA40 (Infotype-0000,0001 & 0002)

3. Master Data

Update remaining master data by recording tcode PA30 (IT0006,0007,0008,0009,0021,0022,0023,0105 etc.)
