Resource Planning in APO (Procurement - Transfer)

Dear Forum members,

I would like to know if APO offers the functionality to plan procurement or transfer of resources.

I would like that the optimizer is able to assess the posibility of procure or transfer resources (machines, tools, labour) based on the procurement/transportation cost lead time and the capacity increase that will be achieved.

Is the APO Optimizer supporting this functionality?

Hi Antonio,

APO is very well capable to select Inhouse Manufacturing or select Procurement depending upon capacity as well as cost constraints.

SNP Optimizer would be the best tool to model such requirement in APO.
