Freight calculation while making shipment cost based on UOM as box.

I want to pack my material into box (5 nos into 1box) while creating delivery. Further to this while calculating shipment cost the freight calculation should be based on BOX and not on Nos.

Please help with the process and configuration, if required.

hi,

but i have a question here.

on which either BOX or NOs - the valuation of material takes place.

according to your requriment.

you can have UOM as NOS.

keep sales unit as BOX & delivery unit as BOX.

try creating the shipment and create a condition record using BOX as UOM and test it and update teh forum.

hi.. thanks for your reply. I had done the same as suggested by you but my user's requirement is that in delivery the UOM should be NO. only but in shipment it should show in BOX and shipment cost should be calculated on BOX. Here 5 Nos = 1 Box.

Please suggest what setting needs to be done for this??

1) Maintain the required alternative unit of measurement as 5 nos. = 1 box in material master

2) Maintain condition records per BOX in TK11

Hi ... Thanks a lot for your response. I was trying this only but was not giving condition types correct inputs... Your suggestion clicked me and it solved my issue.
