Service Desk: Basis message has not been created

Hi All,

I'm setting up the Servicedesk in Solution Manager. We're using ST version 400 Level 25. I've set up the automatic generation of BP's (organizations and persons) and iBases. Our smsy has all the necessary information.

If I surf to the Servicedesk Workcenter and create a new message I get this error:

Message 00000000037 created in <SID> with the following error: Basis message has not been created.

Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong or what I can check?

I'm quite new to the Solution Manager

Hi There,

I would suggest to have a look at your authorizations assigned to your user. Assign them SAP_ALL & SAP_NEW and see if that issue goes away.

If it does then of course it is an authorizations issue that needs to be looked at.

Please don't forget to remove the FULL access from the User

Hi

what you defined as the transaction type? is ths standard one (SLFN) or customer transaction type (ZLFN)

if this customer transactionn type did you followed all the other stpes as copy all the action profile and action execution?

do check the number ranges are fine

We've defined it as SIVA as stated in the configuration guide...

What object should I check to see the number range?

I already implemented note 1356510 but this didn't help

I'm using the Solution Manager Servicedesk Workcenter to create a message for an BI system. In the BI System the BCOS_CUST table has this entry:

OSS_MSG w SM_SOLCLNT300_BACK CUST620 1.0

But, alas, I still get the error message: Basis message has not been created (although I can see the message if I login as a processor)

Hello,

Please try to check RFC (connection test and authorization test)

SM59 and RFC from system where you are tryuing to create message to SAP SOlution Manager.

also check table BCOS_CUST if customizing is correct you can used SM30

and you user id at Solution manager check authorization, maybe if you can try to assign sap_all, sap_new profile and test to create from satellite system message to solman
