PRT Issue

Hi,

Jigs are treated as PRT's. For a given operation and work center, time required and jig(PRT) required is entered.

FG Material 1 - 0010 - WC1 - 200 min - JIG 1

FG Material 2 - 0010 - WC2 - 500 min - JIG 2

FG Material 3 - 0010 - WC1 - 800 min - JIG 1

FG Material 4 - 0010 - WC3 - 900 min - JIG 2

FG Material 5 - 0010 - WC2 - 400 min - JIG 1

Requirement is to know what is the available capacity and required capacity of jig and wheather jig capacity is available to meet the PIR Demand. PRT's does not have capacity concept and client does not want PRT's to be treated as work center. Any suggestions to achieve this requirements?

Only way you can get capacity planning is to create them as work center. Other option is to issue to it production order and reverse it when the operation is completed. This way you can do availability check like material.
