Is it "SAFE" to Delete Table Lookups in KEDR?

Hi -

The below thread relating to KEDR Derivation Rules, was answred. However unfortunately the business have come back to us mentioning the rule is not mapping to MCSI - SD Report, they cannot reconcile the PA postings to the MCSI Report

Old Thread - Answered

Prof Analysis characteristic changes KEA5 Customer Master to Sales Document

The reason for this issue is their CR requested us to map the KEDR values to the Sales Order Tables (Table VBAK & VBKD). However MCSI picks up the data from the Billing Doc u2013 Item Data table (VBRP), both data elements sales dist and sals off are on this table

So I plan on mapping the KEDR Rules as follows -

New Table Lookup

Sales office: Billing document line VBRP-VKBUR (instead of VBAK-VKBUR)

Sales district: Billing document line VBRP-BZIRK_AUFT (instead of VBKD-BZIRK)

I am ok with the configuration changes to amend the table look-ups, thanks to Ajay Maheshwari help.

I do have a quick question u2013 regarding the old table look-ups steps 53 & 54 in KEDR, the changes are currently only in our DEV-Config and DEV-Test Clients. Please confirm if I should go ahead and just delete the old steps 53/54 (despite a few postings been made in DEV, using the new rule/logic) u2013 I imagine as only in DEV Client deleting the old table look ups (I created) shld be ok, else if I create the 2 new table look-up rules (55 and 56) would this automatically over-write the old table look-ups u2013 Step 53 and 54, that I created about 1 week ago?

Please kindly get back to me as soon as you can.

Thanks so much.

Regards

Jay.
