Change of Production order Release Date

Hi,

Can we able to change the Date of Release of Production order?. Is it possible?.If yes, how can we change the release date of production order?. Actually i am doing testing in sandbox, when i am doing confirmation, i am getting mesage that confirmation date is less than the Release Date. I want to change the Release date of the order

Dear

If you want to reset the release date, if you have not proceeded with the order confirmations etc. then use the feature "Read PP Master data". System will put the status back to CRTD (Created).if you have not done any Confirmation or GI or GR for the order then "Read PP master data" is the more appropriate way of changing the production order dates. if you GR and GI is done then reverse them and try doing read PP master data.After released the production order we can not change the RELASE date but schedule the dates .If the order in created status , we can change the date & qty .

So what you need goto - Co02->Function> Read PP Master Data -It will change the status of production order status from rel Crtd and explore the BOM and routing again with the date you mentioned .

Now , change the Scheculing Margine Key Work Days in CO02 [either you can increase or decrease] and hit the Scheduling button on the top left corener so that it will change the Schecule dates .If the confirmation date is before the schedule date or relase date , system will promot you with this messages and you need to carry out the changes accrodingly .Make suer that you have all the scheduiing paramenetrs [OPU3/OPU5] in place .

Remove the schedule margin key ( floats) and do a forward scheduling for all your orders. That way you will not have order release date in future. Otherwise ignore the warning.

Actually System will show warning Message only , when the confirmation date is less than the Release Date.

You cant change release date In production order
