QP02 & C202 not accpering new Characterisitc

Changing inspection plan & MAster recipe transaction for addtional characterisitc asks for characterisitc description as mandatory field. Steps to reproduce

1: Go to QP02 & enter group or material for which inspection plan needs addtional characterisitc

2: Add charactertisit fro drop down . you would expect Characteristic description would be copied automatically , instead , it asks for Characteristic description when saving or pressing < Enter>

3: If you enter Characterisitc descriptiuon , it will overwrite Insp char with blank & all other fields like -Qual or Qaun.

4: you are unable to save the addtional characterisitc. Upload worked fine , but it seems , we cannot add characterisc. Delete works fine as well. As a wor around , we created insp plan & copied as reference to add!

I guess it has something to do with Inspection charcteritc description needs to be unique ( Not just insp char) , but there is no other insp characteris which is having same description.

Verify following steps.

1. while entering new MIC you are in change Insp plan : characteristics overview screen.

2. You select drop down from MIC field ( Not method)

3. Make sure the MIC you have selected in not marked for deletion. and MIC is setup correctly.
