position in infotype 0001

Hi,

I changed the text of the position effective 01.01.2011 from Inventory Control Foreman to Inventory contoller. Only the description was changed from 01.01.2011.

Now when I executed change in pay action, and saved 0000 and 0001. The current record with date 01.01.2011 in infotype 0001 displayes the postion with the changed text..BUT the record that was delimited is without any position and says 99999999.

Why is it so? Did i miss out something?

Please help me.

Hi,

You can also use PPOME t-code for changing text based on period, using period tab.

Go to po13 enter position and go to object infotype and change the text from the new start date. Just make sure the end date is 31.12.9999.
