Event handler deletion

Hi EM Expert,

I am trying to delete the event handler using report /SAPTRX/DELETE_EH . I maintained the residence time to delete event handler in customization . However system is not selecting all of relevant the event handler to delete . Any clue ?

Hi Rajesh ,

Event handlers can be deactivated,Deleted , archived only when all the actual events received for an event handler from source system to Event management system.

If any event handler which are not received any of the actual event against the expected events, those cannot be deactivated and deleted from the system .

Also ensure that the residence time settings are based on the Event handler creation date.

Hi Chithaanantham,

EH can also be deleted or archived if not all Expected Events are received. The only criterion are that the EH must be inactive und the residence time is fullfilled. There can be scenarios where an EH does not recieve all Events e.g becuase of a cancellation of the process or document. So this restriction would not be feasible.

are the EHs inactive? You can check it in TR /n/SAPTRX/EH_LIST in the detail or in table /SAPTRX/EH_HDR.

Only inactive EHs can be deleted or archived.
