Dear Friends ,

Can I pull the Data from Flat file ( Excel File ) to SAP BO -- Crystal Report. If we can pull from Excel File to BO System ( Crystal Report) . Then Let me know the steps for creating a Report from Excel File to BO - Crystal Report.

1. the excel file has to be well structured

2. put this excel somewhere on your local machine or any shared drive which is accessable to your machine

3. create new crystal report

4. in the connection wizard choose "Create new connection"

5. select "Access/Excel" and double click "Create new Connectio"

6. select the excel version and browse for your excel file.

continue with the wizard, now you created a report based on excel data

Many Many Thanks for the Answer . Can you let me know the steps for creating the Crystal Report from scatch, I.e from the Excel sheet.

Where I have to do the Modelling and Selection Criteria . Let me know the Process .

just put a header and then put the data like this

ID name Salary

1 Amr 100

2 sap 200

In what Extension , i need to save the File.

Do i need to create DSN, If yes let me know the process to create a DSN.

If possible can you send me the step by step Screen-shots for creating a Crystal report from the Excel sheet.
