Warehouse Management

Hello to everybody,

Is here someone who is able to help me with warehouse configuration ?

I set up storage type 920 - Stock Transfer (Plant) with SU mgmt active.

After that Iu2019ve tried to create new material document.

This is posted to the system normally. I have an entry in LQUA table. But there is no Storage Unit Number (LENUM).

The problem appears when I want to create Transfer order running by transaction LT06. System gives me a message that Update was terminated.

TAP-VLENR <> LQUA-LENUM are not equal !

Any suggestion how to make system ready ?

Is here something similar as online chat ?

Thank you very much for your advice.

Thank you very much for your help. Unfortunately the problem still exists.

I donu2019t have inconsistencies in the system. The report RLQCHECK is empty.

Firstly I should explain you what exactly I need.

Production order puts the quantity of produced material to the 901 storage type.

In this moment I want to have an information about which storage unit it is.

In the standard way the storage unit appears after I do Transfer Order. The number of SU is assign automatically or manually it depends on how the system is set up.

I need to have SU number before I do the Transfer Order and the number of SU will be assign manually as an external number.

So, I tried to activate SU management to the 9* storage type.

In my first example I didnu2019t want to make CO11N (it is time consuming) so, I tried to make another movement type 311 u2013 and therefore I mentioned storage type 920 before.

But I doesnu2019t matter which number of 9* storage type it will be.

Maybe the way how to do this is through the Transfer Requirement or the give this information to the time ticket (production order) but I donu2019t know how to do this.

I guess there is no standard way without using user exits or business Add-In.

Any suggestion?

Thanks a lot.

SAP online help:

Define storage unit management for physical storage types only. Interim storage areas cannot be SU-managed.

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp60_sp/helpdata/en/c6/f8461b4afa11d182b90000e829fbfe/frameset.htm

Why do you need SU number for interim storage types? Can you justify this requirement?

Hello,

It may be because that one or more participating Quants are no longer in the system. There exists a negative quantities for putaway or for picking exist in the Quant..

You can use report RLQCHECK to locate the inconsistencies and execute the report for each warehouse number or warehouse number / storage type.

For details please check OSS 382269 and implement it.
