Hi Experts,
I have SAP solman 7.0 (Windows + MSSQL Server) installed on a machine and we would like to have an SAP ECC 5.0 (Windows + MSSQL Server) in same machine.
We prefer to have separated DB. One for Solman and one for ERP ECC 5.0.
I would like to know if this is possible and if there is anything to consider if I start now to install?
Of course I need to install MSSQL Server first and this is my problem if there will be a conflict with one which is already installed?
Thanks in advance
HanseAtik
Thank you. I installed the two Instance and now I will continue with SAP ECC 5.0 Installation.

The only thing you have to take care of is the memory. You'll have to manually configure memory parameters so that all application data fits in the memory (database, ERP ABAP, SolMan ABAP and SolMan Java).

this is possible to install two sql server instances in a single machine. and also you can install SOLMAN and ECC 5.0 on same machine.
