We have a external portal that have a TREX server setup and an index that indexes about 22000 documents with permissions.
the reason for permissions is so an external user only sees the documents that is located in the specific companys folder.
The overall problem is that a search result takes about 1 1/2 minut before this results with an result. this is seen with a user that has limited permissions.
We have already created an OSS to SAP which has decleined this, saying that the TREX is running fast(true) and the search IS slow when you have permissions as a part of the portal index.
But this is where we in my company has a hard time believing that this is as intended. SAP is built up around roles and permissions, so it makes no sence that the portal index can not be faster than returning a search within 1 1/2 minute.
Does anyone else have any experiance in this and maybe some performance optimizing tips?.
Portal is: 7.01 SP7 (1000.7.01.7.3.20100722085440)
TREX version 7.10.38.00
Thanks in advance..
