So just out of curiosity has anyone gotten this to work? I gave an image to the attribute but it doesn't show?

Craig,

The very first example in SBSPEXT_HTMLB\Tree.bsp contains a series of very nice icons. Maybe you want to check it out?

When you are considering to use SAP icons, do not generate your own URLs. Please use our utility class to do this, as we moved the repository in 700 development, and the utility class will handle this correctly. For a good example, please see IT00/misc_sap_icons.htm. It also contains a 3 line example of how to use the class.

Brian,

That was the problem, I used that example but no icons show up for me that's why I started asking. Is there perhaps a certain release/package level I need to have for these?

Don't know. Will say you are >SP30 and that it should work.

But what you do not write are two other things:

(1) Did you check the BSP page whether the source is actually trying to output icons (meaning new/old example)

(2) What do you see on the screen if no icons? Do you see little red crosses?

(3) Did you do a view source and see if there are any paths of the form /icon/ in them?

(4) Just vague idea, try running page with either sap-htmlb-design=2002 or =2003 in the URL to see if maybe there is just a bug in one of the two designs rendering.

Did you test that IT00 test page I refered you to? What happened there?

It is difficult to shoot in the dark and hit something without a little to guidance from you.

Sorry, I need to remember to take a bit more time to write my message out completely.

The problem I believe lies in the fact that I am on SP27, there are "gif"'s all through the page source but none that are broken meaning I am not seeing a broken img link so I am assuming I'm working in the olden days here.

As for the it00/mime_sap_icons.htm that works quite well and all the icons are there. That definetly helps in reducing the amount of graphics I have to worry about.

Thanks!!

I'll let you know what happens after a upgrade to SP30

If you can in any way influence it, especially for BSP, we would seriously recommend to skip upto SP32. Consider to start looking at SP33 onwards.

We are actually going to go all the way to 41 tonight and see what happens along with a couple of kernel levels and the java libs and everything.

Yes, we just switched (we asked) the default theme from sap_standard to sap_tradeshow. The other themes are still there. Most test apps have a toggle to test the other themes.

We've just been pushing forward into using the BSP extensions more and more, inc fact I've just completely removed all stand-alone html from one application and it's running using only htmlb and xhtmlb. So far so good other than a tricky little issue with tabs and trees

Once we get the functions working the right way we'll probably dive into the themes and styles that there...
