Hello sir,

If for e.g. a Time Admin enters time on IT2001 or IT2002 and you try to create a Leave Request which conflicts with this time, you will have this error message when creating the Leave.

When you say it's working on the backend, are you referring to PA30 or PTARQ test transaction?

Please note that not all collision rules are supported by the leave request. I am not the time expert so excuse incorrect terminology.

But if you have an absence type that will split another absence, this will work in backend, but give a collision in portal. We have taken the issue up with SAP, as we feel the system should behave consistent across interface; but so far no luck.

Hi Vikrant,

I had encountered similar problem where in the dates get updated in R/3 and not in protal.

the solution to this issue is to restart the portal. if you cannot get this done then wait for next

reset of portal this issue will be gone.

Hi Vikrant,

The issue is because, the employee has applied for the leaves on portal and before it is approved, that particular date is updated via backend in IT2001.

To resolve this issue, you will have to delete the leaves that are still in the sent status in the portal buffer area.

You will have to use the reports RPTARQDBVIEW and RPTARQDBDEL using tcode SA38.

Run the first report by selecting upto today option and then check the leave request in sent status that are already updated in backend in IT2001 then using the second report, select upto date option and uncheck the test run field and delete those request that you identified from the first report. This will resolve ur issue.

Cheers,
