Reverse Doccument

Hai Experts,

While using transaction code fb08 to reverse the doccument I am getting an error which say Reverse not possible(asset val. date in diff. Fyear frm posting date).The message number is AA453

Hi,

While executing you enter Posting Date is diffrent fiscal year, actual document posting happend Previous Fiiscal year now you trying to reverse current FY.

Due to FY you are not able to reverse AA docuemnt.

If it is related to Asset Account plz try to reverse docu through T.Code: AB08 & also refer below OSS note

Hi,

Just Give Asset Number and Fiscal year (Original Docuemnt Posting Year) and Enter from next screen select line item and proceed.

Can I try without giving fiscal year or the fiscal year as 2010 and the posting date 2011.Will that get reversed.

Hi Raju,

you should enter FY in AB08.

Note: For Asset Account Document Posting year and Reversal Year Should be same FY.

Hai Vishwanath,

If they use AB08 how do they identify the asset.

For example one document will have 2 to 3 assets If they want to do for particular asset number how do they find they dont know the asset number but they know the period.If the period is for 13th Month.

Ask them to check those 3 assets in AW01N

After finding the asset, revrese the transaction in AB08.

In Ab08 also the same error is appearing as it appears in FB08(Reversal not possible asset value date in diff.F.year from posting date).Can you please Suggest me how I proceed?

Exactly what FI Document do you want to reverse? Is it Asset Purchasing Document or Asset Depreciatin Document?
