Select value from dropdownlist using keyboard

Hi experts,

When you have a dropdownlist on your interactive form with values "Tast, Test, Tost" (for example).

When you select your dropdownlist and you type "T" with your keyboard, it automatically selects "Tast" (the first value beginning with a "T").

Is it possible to select the second value by entering "TE" with your keyboard? (entering 2 letters quick after each other)

Thanks in advance!

Mathieu

Hi Mathieu,

Have you tested by putting a dropdown in your form? I think this functionality is already there in Adobe Interactive Form.

Thanks & Regards,

Yes i've tested it, and it always selects the first value, even when you enter "TE" it selects the first value...

Hi,

As per the latest reader, it only reads the 1st char of the list and points there.

If you type the same char it moves to the next word starting the char.

So in your case 1st hit with T it gos to the 1st word starting with T

2nd hit with T it goes to the 2nd word starting with char T and so on.

This is how reader works, and there is no such functionality as per your requirement as far as I know.

Cheers,

Sai
