Hi,

Manual way

First list out the PR which have to be deleted in excel.Then copy the numbers from excel.

Then goto ME57,in PR field,click on the yellow arrow.Then click on upload from click board icon & upload the PR numbers & then click on execute.

Then again click on execute.It will list all PR.Then click on closed check box & one by ne close the PR.

Go to MASSOBJ Tcode

Select BUS2105--- SELECT Field list(Optional) -new entry-add field LOEKZ.

Then go to MASS tcode-object type BUS2105-Click on filed tab-Select EBAN-LOEKZ field and F8.

Give ur PR list then delete.

Please do it, and if you succeed then give details.

I see this questions and the same answer many times here, but nobody ever did answer if he succeeded with this.

Adding the LOEKZ field and executing MEMASSRQ and getting a green message is not a prove if it works, go then with ME53N and see if you have really set the deletion indicator.

I just know that you cannot set the deletion indicator with MEMASSRQ.

With SAP standard delivery this is not possible, so what did you change to make it possible.

And we earlier already dicussed this often:

did you really set a deletion indicator with MEMASSRQ? then explain how you did it, because I already said, that EBAN-LOEKZ is not among the changable fields. and adding the field to the MASSFLDLST with SM30 does not help. it makes the field available, but does not update.
And other threads in this fourum confirm this as well:
But maybe there is a difference depending on MEMASSRQ system setting. In releases up to 46c it was a batch input method while in higher release MEMASSRQ does BAPI method.

And after this question nobody ever could confimr that he did it.

I can see in your screenshots that it looks like you did it with MASS, but this is not an evidence without knowing the way.

I followed this instruction, ignored several times the SAP warning that I am not supposed to change anything there, but even then I am not able to set the deletion indicator.

And when I set the deletion indicator manually and try to undelete it with MASS, I even get an error message from SAP telling me that this is not possible

Did you do anything more? exits, modifications?

Anybody else here who was able to activate it using the explanation givin by ARUN?

Please tell if you succeeded or failed.

I tried today and failed. 4.6C Many warnings, which I bypassed. MEMASSRQ green light, but no actual update.

When I get a moment I will try in one of our 6.0 systems.

I believe you must have misread Jürgen's answer. It sounded to me like he wanted to know exactly how you did it. As do I. Many people have asked for this feature (in my company as well) and no-one up until today has shown me how to make it work. Believe me, I have tried your technique before, and I was unsuccessful.. I re-tried today just to make sure (4.6C). Green light, but no actual change in the database.

Concerning Jürgen's attitude, I am having a real hard time figuring out his quotation that caused you to make such a statement. I must assume that the language barrier has caused a misunderstanding. Otherwise, it is puzzling why a professional consultant as yourself would knowingly embarass himself with such a display of pettiness in a public forum.

I have tested this case in ECC6 and recently we have updated EP4 also. When I run tcode MASS for me also system give green massage and massage is u201C6000029661 : Change LOEKZ could not be effectedu201D but have checked me52n Pr was deleted succefully.

Pl check in ur ECC6 system.

Jürgen,

Today I tried this in a 6.0 system, no support release, patch 42. I got the exact same results, I was unable to use the technique described to mass change LOEKZ. Same warnings/messages, still no change to the actual PR.

I do not currently have access to an EHP system.

For my company, we will continue to use other means to mass delete PRs. When the magic secret is discovered, I would love to hear about it.

I implemented 8 OSS notes regarding BAPI errors today and tested again too, still not possible to change the deletion indicator.

ghandhipk, you had opened this thread, what about you? Could you make it with MEMASSRQ?

Arun, it looks like you have an error in your system, please check OSS Note 1520120 - ME 664 for deletion indicator / 06 632 not processed

I already tested in ECC6.0 and can do it as you said, PR can deleted after I maintained field LOEKZ in object BUS2105.

I would like to do the same way with filed EBAKZ (PR closed), but after I maintained field EBAKZ in object BUS2105,

this field is not display in"field" tab in MEMASSRQ. Is it possible to use this field? Did you ever try this?

Take help from ABAPer and create BDC program to activate close tick in purchase requisions. Input will be PR no , material code

as per requirement.

There is no mass program for this.

You have to develope a program with the help of ABAP er for closing the PR in mass.
