Excise transaction TR6 and PLA account

Hi,

I want to know about the PLA account and TR6 challan, what is use of those two like excise transaction GRPO is updated when we do part 1 and part2 ,

PLA is personal ledger Account which is nothing but pass book which shows debit, credit and balance entry.

When you are utilizing you have two option either you can utilize from register such as RG23 A, C or you can utilize from PLA which appear when there is no or less balance in register

TR6 is known as challan which update the PLA when paid any amount to the Excise dept which is in non SAP through bank challan( TR6) same you have to update in PLA then use TR6 challan there you Dr On hold account & Cr PLA account in this way the amount is Credited in PLA which is called JV( J1IH). when utilization is done, if input value(procurement) is less than output value (sales value), u can use PLA account for utilization.

PLA account is nothing but the amount u have paid to the excise authority and u will pass jv in the t-code J1IH with the challan amount called TR6 challan.
