Why the service links not appear in the portal(MSS)?

Hello,

The service links on detailed panel on the left side of the MSS not appear.

Per example, when i select team i can't see Employee Information, Employee Working Times...

Somebody knows how to make the service links of the MSS appear?

Hi There,

See if below,

iView: portal_content/com.sap.pct/every_user/com.sap.pct.erp.common.bp_folder/com.sap.pct.erp.common.iviews/com.sap.pct.erp.common.services

is present as a Dyanamic navigation added to

page: portal_content/com.sap.pct/line_manager/com.sap.pct.erp.mss.bp_folder/com.sap.pct.erp.mss.pages/com.sap.pct.erp.mss.hcm/com.sap.pct.erp.mss.team

And also the Service Map (added) iView is added to the "Manager Self-Service" page under the MSS role.

Also, you should have,

Employee Information, Employee Working Times etc folders are available under Team page.

I am not able to add the screen shot to this thread to show you the exact structure you sould have. Please let me know if this helps!!!

Thanks Sushil and Shanti.

The problem was because the BP_COMMON_PARTS was not installed.

When i searched the path com.sap.pct.erp.common.services, i didn't found. So, i installed the BP and it works fine.

For a page to show up in the detailed navigation - From Portal Content, open the corresponding page and change the following property for the page:

Invisible in Navigation Areas - Set this to "No"

However, for Employee Information and Employee Working Times - these links should show up in the left navigation under "Services" when you select "Team".

Which version of MSS business package are you using ?

thanks for your reply.

The property "Invisible in Navigation Areas" already set to no.

This is the problem. I can't see the service pane on the left when i select team.

The version of the MSS is 1.41 SP8 .

The default role should have the Services pane open.

I am not sure if you are using the standard role or a custom role.
