As mentioned in another post, we (Post Danmark) are just starting out with SAP and are looking into MDM, the tool and the 'process'.
When reading about MDM (the tool) I have learned about some of the roles, tasks and responsibilities needed in that respect, but since MDM is much more that just what the tool offers/needs, I was wondering if someone could either list or point me to a list of other roles, tasks and responsibilities necessary for MDM (the process).
One role that we are looking into, is 'Data Steward' or 'Information Steward', just to give you an idea of what I'm (we are) looking for.

Here is an example of what a Data Seward could be and should do :
<i>A person with specialized knowledge of the data used or created in a particular business area. The steward has an obligation to the day-to-day operation of their business area as well as the responsibility for data accuracy, integrity, and security.</i>
SAP MDM 2.0 offers several composite roles containing specific worksets according to the different role profiles.

Please pay special attention to the role descriptions of <i>Master Data Manager</i>, <i>Master Data Specialist</i>, and <i>Local Data Manager</i>.
