Using Web Dynpro instead of JSPs on MI?

Hi all,

is it possible to build UIs using the Web Dynpro framework and "run" them on mobile devices using the client infrastructure of MI (offline)? Or do i have to use JSPs and/or AWT? If the second is correct, are there any plans to migrate a light-weight Web Dynpro runtime in the future?

Thanks in advance.

Stefan

    Hi all,

in the meantime i found the answer by myself. Web Dynpro apps will be available for this, MI versions >= 2.5 will include a deploying service for WD apps for the Tomcat web server.

    Regards

      Hi Stefan,

Hope everything is fine with you.

Unfortunately this is for an internal project only and not for product usage. No, WD applications are not available on the MI 2.5 platform.

At the moment we enable the Pocket PC and the BlackBerry wireless handheld for mobile online usage.

      Hope that helps!
