Issue with Resource Search functionality

Hi,

In Project Management, there is a resouce search functionality. I have hired users using the HR transactions PA40. But when i do a search by qualitfication, general.....i am not able to retrive the resource i have hired. can anyone help me out ?

Hi,

One of the very obvious reasons for this is - the search criteria is not set properly. Ensure that you specify the 'Minimum degree of suitability' and 'Minimum availability' parameters properly.

I assume that the Business partners for these employees were created after you hired them. cProjects uses Business Partners (employee role) for resource management and not the employees directly

HI,

The users are mapped to BP in cPro and qualifications for the same can be maintained through transaction TA: RPM_EMPDATA and to users through TA: PPPM.
