Transport failed when transporting Datasource

Hello Guyz,

Datasource failed when transported from Quality to Production , below is the error message.

' Start of the after-import method RS_ISMP_AFTER_IMPORT for object type(s) ISMP (Activation Mode)

DataSource 0BPARTNER_TEXT does not exist in source system PB5CLT500 of version A

Mapping between data source 0BPARTNER_TEXT and source system PB5CLT500 is inconsistent

DataSource 0BPARTNER_TEXT does not exist in source system PB5CLT500 of version A

Field PARTNER will not be delivered from DataSource 0BPARTNER_TEXT in source system PB5CLT500

Field PARTNER_GUID will not be delivered from DataSource 0BPARTNER_TEXT in source system PB5CLT500

Field TXTLG will not be delivered from DataSource 0BPARTNER_TEXT in source system PB5CLT500

Field TXTMD will not be delivered from DataSource 0BPARTNER_TEXT in source system PB5CLT500

Field TXTSH will not be delivered from DataSource 0BPARTNER_TEXT in source system PB5CLT500

Field TYPE will not be delivered from DataSource 0BPARTNER_TEXT in source system PB5CLT500 '

0BPARTNER_TEXT is a emulated datasource and I didn't have any trouble when I transported it from development to Quality, but it fails when I transport from Quality to Production.

Any suggestion or help would be appreciated.

Datasources were not in active state in the source system.

Hi Ravi,

First check in ECC side of your production system whether 0BPARTNER_TEXT is active or not. Goto RSA6 and check this.

If it is not atcive you need to send active datasource to ECC first. And if it is already active then you need te send datasource replica along with the datasource in transport request form quality to production.

Hi ravi,

its clear that error is bcoz of the data source is not ported in source system and its not being replicated in the QA (BI side).

have you transported the R/3 data source and replicate before transporting the BI objects.

Check weather the Data source 0BPARTNER_TEXT is active in QA or not then transport the objects from BI the transport will be success.

Is PB5CLT500 your production system ?

Have you done your R3 transport before transporting BW transport ? Is the datasource 0BPARTNER_TEXT available in your production system, you can check in RSA6.

You need to first do the R3 transport, replicate source system in BW and then do BW transport.
