How to configure prescription printing in ISH-MED

Hello All,

I am trying to generate "Prescription Printout" but I don't know the exact procedure for generating prescription in IS-HMED Clinical System. I want to call standard PDF based form when I click on "Print Prescription" in tcode NWP1->OP-D->Medication Order.

Please guide me on this.

Thank you,

Jagrut

Why is this tagged with ABAP?

Did you not find this in the documentation? Was it not covered in training that you've received before starting this job? What have you tried so far? I don't know anything about this IS but expecting "guidance" without any evidence of own effort is usually ineffective on SCN in general, so you might want to elaborate on what is the specific issue.

Hello Ma'am, thank you of response.

I am a ABAP consultant and new to the area of SAP IS-H*Med. I didn't get any training. It's my task to find the best possible way to print Prescription. I have gone through documentation and I can't find much information regarding Prescription Printing. So far I have found Work organizer type "MEDOPR". In IMG activity I also found standard event "MED001" which is for Printing medication order. In Work Organizer type one standard adobe form is assigned which is for prescription printing.I don't know if it's a correct Work organizer type, event and why the adobe form assigned is not getting trigger. Also I did not know the which type of document category I should use for prescription printing.

If I do not mention a form name (Adobe form or SAPScript form) at Document category level, the process of prescription printing goes into dump raising error "Form name missing".

Through technically I find that from document category using "User Exit" tab we can override any standard configuration and I can generate Prescription through my own logic. But I don't want to do any customization and want to use standard process.

Regards,

Jagrut.
