Pop Up for Fund Center Commitment Item During Contract

Hi All

While Creating a Contract ME31K (account assignment category-blank), We get a Pop-Up for Fund Center & Commitment Item which is not required as we do not want to commit the budget during Contracts. I want to stop the system from Popping up the fund center & Commitment Item during the Contracts.

I have kept the field status for PR & PO as Optional. There is no option to suppress the field status for the Contracts.

In the Fund Management Government -> Actual & Commitment Update -> Integration. I came across "Integration for Contracts" which leads me to Specific Postings. I am not sure whether this functonality will help me to get the issue solved.

Kindly Guide on the Issue.

    Hi,

    The budget is not committed during contract. This information will serve when you create further MM documents (PR/PO) based on this contract.

      My problem is totally opposit.

      when i am creating contract with account assignment category BLANK, I am not getting Fund Center Option.

      Could you tell me how u got Fund Center filed with blank account Assignment ??

      Hi,

      In the first place, that note only applies to Stock Purchase (blank Item Category, blank Account Assignment Category). Also you have to hide the FM Account Assignment for stock PO and PR in configuration: Puplic Sector Management -> Funds Management Government -> Actual and commitment Update -> Integration -> Maintain Field Status for assigning FM account assignment -> here, in order to make that note work you have to hide FM account assignment for PR and PO stock purchase.

      Secondly, that note is irrelevant to consumption purchasing or asset purchasing. Whether or not you need to give FM account assignment is depending on how an Account Assignment Category is defined: Materials Management -> Purchasing -> Account Assignment -> Maintain Account Assignment Categories.
