CL_HTMLB_MANAGER=>RENDER_EVENT = CL_HTMLB_MANAGER=>RENDER_EVENT_CALL

Hi all,

have anyone of you ever use CL_HTMLB_MANAGER=>RENDER_EVENT or CL_HTMLB_MANAGER=>RENDER_EVENT_CALL?

Are they the same?

A code snippet on how to use this method would be nice. I tried it, but always get event with initial value, or any pointer to some kind of documentation on how to use this is also very helpful.

TIA,

Iwan

    Why not look at the source? That is the nice thing about ABAP. The source is shipped, and any good programmer can peek below the hood.

    Hmmm...Once I wrote render_event in the heat of the moment. But I think that with a little careful reading, you would have seen that I ment render_event_call. There is no such method as render_event.

    All our CL_HTMLB_* classes are full of examples. Easiest would be to debug through the code once or twice.

    No. There is no real documentation. This is part of the agreement we had with other groups as well. They can use it, and we will keep it stable. But it is not documented.

    If I have time in the next week, I will see if I can write down some of the basics.
