Dear All,
Two batch managed materials are created with the following details:
1. Material Code- TPX45V, Material type- HALB, Material Group- TRADING, Price Control- MOVING AVERAGE (V).
2. Material Code- TPX45Z, Material type- FERT, Matreial Group- TRADING, Price Control- MOVING AVERAGE (V).
3. Material Code- SCR45Z, Material type- HALB, Matreial Group- SCRAP, Price Control- MOVING AVERAGE (V).
Unique valuation classes have been maintained in the accounting1 viewfor all of these three materials.
1 is externally procured.
1 is the component material in the BOM of 2.
2 is produced in-house from 1.
3 is the process scrap generated in producing 2.
The procurement process for 1 is completed and 1 comes into stock with a price automatically as seen in the Accounting view of its Material Master
I create a Production Order for 2, & 2 is produced according to this Order.
I do co15 (confirmation of Production Order) for 2, consuming a batch from 1 to produce a batch for 2 & I posted this entry.
On drilling deep into the FI document of this entry through its material document using mb51, I find out that in the FI entry, nothing is generated for 2 ann 3.
It shows only the GL posting associated with the Goods Issue (261), that is, for 1 alone. No GL postings generated for the FERT & SCRAP.
In the Accounting view of the Material Master, the stock of 2 & 3 produced & generated respectively due to this entry is seen but the Price remains zero.
Why is the Moving Average price not being calculated by the system?
Why are Accounting entries not being generated for 2 and 3?
Are there settings that is/are to be done within PP to ensure that accounting entries are generated for 2 & 3?
