Hi all,
where can I find source files of message mapping in XI ???
Thanks in advance,
Micheel.
Hi Michele,
The answer is: nowhere. This generated source is not supposed to be edited and therefore is not published anywhere. Actually, it's even not readable without having sources of message-mapping runtime classes.
Best regards,
Alexey

This is correct, however you can find the generated message mapping classes in /sapmnt/<SID>/global/xi/mapping/*.

You can just decompile the generated message mapping classes if you want to have a look at source code.

Hi Tanja,
Ofcourse, it's possible to retrive those sources. I didn't say it's impossible. I said they're not published for users. Actually, I can extract those sources even without need to decompile anything, but it's because I, as a developer, sometimes need sources for debugging. Users do not.
And by the way, decompiling any part of XI is against the license agreement, isn't it?
Best regards,
Alexey
