Hello experts,
I am having a problem with a webdynpro application. Basically I have that app working in an application server, but after transporting it to another server the application does not work. Apparently the problem is associated with language issues. The iView properties and the SAPGUI configurations are all correct, but it still doesn't use the right language (the user language). Can anyone help me with this?

Hi there,
The application Lameira's writing about is a ESS/MSS Overview Page delta link. The page in Development system is being displayed in user language, but in Quality system it always displays English, no matter the user language.

Hi,
XssMenu app is Web Dynpro Java app and is used for rendering the Homepage Config changes to render in Portal.
When you create the iview of that app you need to pass the parameters which will render the screen.
And as asked before elaborate what is your requirement, and what is that you are doing for that.

Hello,
I have a Java Web AS in one machine and I am running this application in one iView of my portal. The content shown by the application is in the R/3 machine. When I log into the portal with my user I can see the content in "pt" (the language associated with my user). After migrating the contents and properties to another machines, one forJava Web AS and the other for R/3, and log in with my user, the content of the iView running that application is shown in "en". The tabs and other contents of the portal are shown in "pt". The problems seem to be related with this application. I have changed the JCO language property to blank, because it was defined as "en" and I thought that could be forcing the application language when getting content from R/3, but it didn't solve the problem. I was told that after this modification it is not required a restart to the portal application, but I am not sure of that and I can't think in any other solution to the issue. I hope this time you understand what my problem is. If you don't, please let me know.
Thanks again for your help,
Ana Lameira
